Usage data retention

When you generate a document with DocuMold, the following information is stored:

  • name of the template file
  • date & time
  • the user

This is to be able to provide some details about your usage of DocuMold.

No information is stored about the following (unless an enterprise pricing plan requests them):

  • the content of the template
  • the values entered in the form to generate the document
  • the name of the generated document
  • the content of the generated document

Duration

Usually, this usage data is stored for two months, which gives at least a full month to access it after receiving your invoice.

If the invoice is unpaid, the data may be stored for longer, possibly until the invoice is paid.

Enterprise customers may contact our sales team at [email protected] to customize the duration and the data to store.

Here is additional processing related data that may be configured to be stored.

  • the content of the template
  • the values entered in the form to generate the document
  • the name of the generated document
  • the content of the generated document

Security

When storing a template or a generated document, the file is first encrypted using an encryption key unique to that file. This ensures that someone gaining access to the file storage system could not read any file.
