Usage data retention
When you generate a document, DocuMold stores the following information:
- the template used to generate the document
- the generated document
- the values entered in the form to generate the document
- the user which generated the document
This data is available to you in DocuMold’s usage log to:
- explain your DocuMold usage and costs
- how many document each user generated?
- who generated which documents?
- which template was used for a specific document?
- re-download a generated document if it was lost/altered
This data is not shared to third-parties by DocuMold and is only kept to provide features to users.
Access
Users with the “Admin” role can see the usage logs of every users of the account.
Other users may only see their own usage logs.
Note: Users can view and edit roles by going to the Accounts
page.
Duration
Usually, this usage data is stored for two months, which gives a full month to access it after receiving your invoice.
If the invoice is unpaid, the data may be stored for longer, possibly until the invoice is paid.
Security
Each stored file is first encrypted using an encryption key unique to that file. This ensures that only DocuMold can access the file even if someone gained access to the storage system.
